The batch system at Tier-1 is LSF9 (IBM Platform LSF Standard 9.1.3.0, Feb 1 2015). Documentation is available on-line [5]. User guide can be found both html format [6] and pdf [7] The default configuration is one queue per experiment but upon request different queues configuration can be provided. Starting from January 2020 the batch system will be migrated to HTCondor 8.8.4 (HTCondor^TM8.8.4, July 9 2019). User manual can be found online [8] , but a quick tutorial is provided in the following sections.HTCondor 8.8.9 (HTCondor^TM 8.8.9, May 06 2020). HTCondor is a specialized batch system for managing compute-intensive jobs, providing a queuing mechanism, scheduling policy, priority scheme, and resource classifications. It is developed by the Center for High Throughput Computing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison (UW-Madison) and all the documentation is available at the dedicated website [5]. Also, the user manual [6] and a Quick Start Guide [7] can be found online. The basis instructions and commands are explained in the following sections.
