Step-by-step guide
THE BTF enviroment
- Networking:
- a right number of plugs for ethernet
- router has to be ready to pass the comms on the correct VLAN
- check all the staff machines ip addresses
- check all the staff
- wifi access for all the staff
- Correct standards for the main plugs
- one PC wide screen for !CHAOS developing (BISEGNI)
- One PC wide screen for CU developing (Michelotti)
- one PC for WEBUI
- one PC for CCS
!CHAOS environment
- put all of the CU hosts, VM, physical machine in NTP (workiing )
- remove all of the firewall from all the VMIC and the machine
Procedure
- prepare all the software for the testbeam, during the testbeam the only duty is to remove bug and develop the software strictly for put in run the stuff. It is not allowed to develop new stuff, new driver, new procedure to try a different algorithm for the milestone.
