Rancher is a platform that allows its users to deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters from anywhere. It provides tools to monitor all containers and to give solutions regarding networking and storage. In addition, there are tools developed by Rancher for deploying Kubernetes clusters such as RKE, RKE2 and k3s. The following guide will show how to deploy a Rancher server using docker and create/join Kubernetes cluster with it. Moreover, there is another section on how to create a Kubernetes cluster with RKE and deploy Rancher server within it. The last section demonstrates how to rotate certificates managed by Rancher tools.
