Depending on the agreement between CNAF and experiments, data transfers can be performed using various protocols, such as http/webdav or xrootd, http/webdav being the preferred one since it is provided via the StoRM WebDAV service, a storage management and data access solution supporting VOMS and OAuth/OpenID Connect authentication and authorization mechanisms and developed in-house.
